The Year of Reverse Mortgages is a short expose documentary on reverse mortgages. It centers on a young reverse mortgage broker, Dale Forbs. Dale Forbs works for a large reverse mortgage firm. The documentary is yet in its planning stages and is expected to have six episodes.
The documentary follows the working life of young Dale as he works with particular clients giving the viewers an in-depth knowledge of the way the industry works, what reverse mortgage can do and how it can help seniors to better their standard of living. The documentary has not yet been filmed but is well along in production planning stages. This website is designed to create an awareness of the documentary and to spread hype on its value.
The main characters include
Dale Forbes: a young reverse mortgage broker working for a large reverse mortgage firm. Dale is a bright young man with cheerful face and of medium height and build. Dale is the center focus of the documentary. By following his activities at work and his explanatory dialogues along the documentary the viewers are helped to understand the reverse mortgage industry better.
Mark Hilton: an accredited HUD reverse mortgage counselor working in the same firm as your Dale. Twice during the documentary Dale will send two of his clients to see Mark. The documentary scenes of the consultation sessions are aimed to help viewers understand the value of going for reverse mortgage counseling before opting for the loan.
Mr. Morrison: a 79 year old man whose house goes up for foreclosure and who is helped by Dale to save his house through a reverse mortgage loan.
Mrs. Margaret Johnson: a 63 years old woman who comes for a reverse mortgage loan but is advised against it after a reverse mortgage counseling session.
Linda Poliski: a niece of Mr. Morrison who introduced him to Dale Forbs.
